The arenas also have a new stunning look, thanks to the engine and to the rebuild process they underwent. NHL 22 Mac OS X also adds to the scene new animations for moves made during play. Superstar X-Factors are now part of the game. These are unique skills that make each superstar player stand out from the others. Not only does this make them one of a kind, but it also adds even more animations specific to these attributes. Since the actual National Hockey League expanded for the 21-22 season by adding the Seattle Kraken, the team was also added to the game.
