Each of these consists of an open-world environment scattered with clues but also dangers. Apart from the bounties, the Scrapbeak, the Spider, the Assassin, and the Butcher, there are a few more monsters to defeat. Hunt Showdown Mac OS X also introduces Armoreds, Grunts, and Hives alongside other dangers. The available choice of weapons is varied and includes everything from firearms to crossbows. On the other hand, ammo is not easy to come about so you will need to make sure you plan each shot you take.

Once you defeat a boss monster, you not only collect the bounty but also become one. Every other player on the map will start converging to your position while you try to make it out alive.
