Chicory: A Colorful Tale for macOS offers gameplay inspired by a coloring book with a top view. In the land of a thousand colors, the mysterious disappearance of the famous artist – Chicory – brings with it a serious curse: the disappearance of all colors and the condemnation of the world in black and white. Chicory a Colorful Tale Mac OS X will take us to the Picnic Province, which is inhabited by over a hundred animal characters. There are about 10 hours of fun waiting for the player and a lot of puzzles solved by coloring.

To reach new places, we have to unlock new painting abilities and complete dozens of side missions such as delivering mail or taking photos. During the game (or rather painting), we can also use a whole range of items or clothes. The soundtrack was taken care of by Lena Raine, responsible for the music for Celeste and Minecraft. All these attractions are also available in local co-op mode.

In summary, Chicory A Colorful Tale Mac OS X is a unique experience, an adventure game for macOS that invites us to co-create its world by giving it colors and painting. It is an encouragement to wild creativity, but also a warm story about being an artist. It is above all something extraordinary, one of the reasons why I personally love indie games.
