There are also a few more surprises in the multiplayer part of the game. Several modes are new to be tested out like Knockout and Prisoner Rescue. The former is a version of the “Capture the flag” where the flag is now a package that needs securing. The latter revolves around a hostage and the actions of a team trying to rescue it while the other tries to prevent this. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Mac OS X also adds a 3v3, 3rd-person mode.
